CNA ResponsibilitiesAs a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct resident care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.
KeyDuties Include:
- Answer resident call lights and respond promptly to resident needs
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene
- Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Serve meals, collect trays, and assist residents with feeding as needed
- Transport residents safely using wheelchairs and other mobility equipment
- Assist residents with walking, transfers, and mobility
- Turn and reposition residents to promote comfort and prevent skin breakdown
- Measure and record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other resident information
- Accurately complete resident charting and documentation
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Required:
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in the State of Montana
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, memory care, assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare settings
- Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care practices
