We are currently seeking an experienced Buyer to join our client's team near Laurens, SC. This is an immediate, direct hire opportunity.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving efficient, cost-effective purchasing that supports our client's manufacturing operations. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure materials, goods, and services are sourced strategically and delivered on time.

Salary: $60,000 - $105,000 per year (based on experience)

- Oversee purchasing activities for materials and services, ensuring the best mix of price, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive performance, resolve challenges, and foster collaboration.
- Review and process purchase orders accurately, managing all associated documentation through SAP.
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain product availability while avoiding overstock.
- Partner with internal departments to align purchasing priorities with production and business goals.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by analyzing purchasing trends and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
- Evaluate supplier performance and product quality, ensuring compliance with company standards and specifications.
- Use SAP reporting tools to track performance metrics, support audits, and provide insights to leadership.
- Minimum 3 years experience working with SAP in a supply chain and manufacturing environment
- Proven proficiency in SAP required including a deep understanding of SAP reporting and analytics capabilities
- Previous SAP implementation experience a plus
- 3+ years expereience as a Buyer or in a related procurement role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced envirnment
- Excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail
