• Provide compassionate, quality nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in health status, and communicate concerns appropriately.
• Assist with sick calls, assessments, chronic care needs, and other nursing duties as assigned.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient safety and continuity of care.
• Follow established clinical protocols, facility procedures, and applicable nursing standards.
• Provide reliable PRN coverage to support facility staffing needs.

• Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in South Carolina or a multistate license valid for practice in South Carolina.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain as required.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
• Commitment to professional conduct, patient confidentiality, and quality care.
• Ability to work in a secure correctional environment.

• Provide at least four available dates each month for scheduling consideration.
• Communicate availability in advance, including holiday availability when possible.
• Maintain reliable attendance and honor accepted or scheduled shifts.
• Be available to assist with facility coverage needs as agreed upon for the position.
• Understand that PRN scheduling requirements may vary based on facility size, staffing model, and coverage needs. Full-time and part-time schedules receive priority when scheduling.
