Award winning medical system in the Southeast is recruiting for an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to serve the needs of the Scotland County community. First Health of the Carolinas – a private health care network serving the mid-Carolinas – has partnered with Scotland Healthcare System to provide cardiology coverage in Laurinburg, NC.

Position Highlights

About The Opportunity

• Collaborate with a team of experienced Cardiologists to provide care at Scotland Memorial Hospital and our First Health Cardiology Clinic in Laurinburg, NC.
• Scotland Memorial Hospital features a state-of-the-art cardiac cath lab, providing advanced interventional capabilities such as diagnostic cardiac cath, cardiac cath with placement of stents, TEEs, implantation of loop recorders, cardioversions.
• Hospital employment with the First Health Physician Group, a physician-led, multi-specialty medical group of 400+ providers, including 7 general cardiologists, 3 interventionalists, 1 electrophysiologist, 1 cardiac imager, and 3 cardiothoracic surgeons.

• Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved residency and fellowship programs, and board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology required.
• Must have clean background, NC licensure, NC DEA, DOT certification, and AHA ACLS certification.
