Job Description
A dedicated and experienced registered nurse is needed for the Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Labor and Delivery as well as postpartum care, providing couplet care to patients. Familiarity with basic medical-surgical skills to assist with hysterectomy patients is also required.
Responsibilities

• Perform antepartum, labor, and postpartum nursing care.

• Assist with high-risk deliveries and vaginal deliveries.

• Care for patients undergoing a Cesarean section.

• Conduct fetal monitoring and assessments.

• Provide couplet care for postpartum patients and newborns.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.

Certifications:

BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN (Advanced or Intermediate preferred), STABLE (preferred).

• Experience with IV therapy and phlebotomy is preferred.
