Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team. The successful candidate will provide care in both the Labor and Delivery unit as well as postpartum care, ensuring a couplet care approach. Basic medical-surgical skills will also be required for patients undergoing hysterectomy procedures.
Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage antepartum and postpartum patients.

• Assist in various labor and delivery procedures including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.

• Provide education and support to new parents regarding infant care.

• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.

• Perform assessments and triage for obstetric patients.

• Utilize fetal heart monitoring techniques effectively.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.

• Current certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN. STABLE preferred.

• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients is a plus.
