Job Details:

• Work day shifts in a 4x9 schedule for 36 hours per week from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM

• Provide interventional radiology nursing care with 1:1 patient ratios

• Float to Cath Lab and OR to assist with IR procedures as needed

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with average daily census of 8 patients

• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS

• NC State or compact RN license required

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required

• Travel experience required

• EPIC charting system experience strongly preferred

• 40 hours of orientation provided

• Perform specialized procedures including central line insertion/management, blood product administration, procedural sedation monitoring, chest tube placement, liver/lung biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and radiation safety protocols

• Work with specialized equipment including IV infusion pumps, ventilator management, and end-tidal CO2 monitoring

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams
