Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have prior travel experience and will be comfortable floating to the Cath Lab and OR to assist with interventional radiology procedures. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an interventional radiology setting.
Responsibilities

• Assist with central line insertion and management, including PICC lines and implanted ports.

• Administer IV therapy and blood products.

• Conduct pulmonary and gastrointestinal studies, including thoracentesis and liver biopsy.

• Monitor procedural sedation and maintain patient safety standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams, including IV Teams and respiratory services.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in interventional radiology.

• Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state.

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

• Experience with Epic charting system.

• Preferred skills in medication management, procedural sedation, and patient monitoring.
