Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate will have experience in both the interventional radiology setting and will be prepared to assist in the Cath Lab and OR as needed. The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
Responsibilities

• Circulating procedures and monitoring patients undergoing interventional radiology exams.

• Administering medications, including IV therapy and emergency drugs.

• Assisting with central line insertions and managing PICC lines.

• Performing procedural sedation monitoring and dysrhythmia management.

• Obtaining and interpreting EKGs.

• Ensuring infection prevention and maintaining radiation safety protocols.

• Providing excellent patient care pre- and post-procedurally.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Interventional Radiology.

• Active North Carolina RN license or compact RN license.

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.

• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
