Determines applicant/client eligibility in an income maintenance program which includes the intake, processing, and review functions.
Interviews clients to obtain required information, completing initial applications, verifying the information obtained, determining eligibility or completing scheduled program reviews.
Explains program requirements and options and advises or refers clients to other program services as appropriate.
Performs other duties as assigned, which may include shelter duty.
One year of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker;
Or, an equivalent combination of training and experience.
In lieu of no qualified applicants, work against qualifying applicants may be considered at a salary of $34,964.00.
Preferred but not required: NCFast Training Certificates, Phases I and II.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
Background records check, drug screen, references and, when applicable, transcripts will be required for the successful candidate.

Diplomas and Degree must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
