Associate Dean – Degree Programs
The Associate Dean – Degree Programs plays a key leadership role in strategic development, continuous improvement of degree programs (MSc, MBA, EMBA, DBA). The position ensures academic excellence, fosters innovation in teaching and learning. Moreover, they should demonstrate strong leadership skills, embodying our EHL leadership principles, and demonstrate excellent people skills to foster and nurture collaboration amongst our faculty members, the industry and our educational partners.
Whatwill you do?
- Define and implement the strategic vision for Master programs, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and evolving market trends.
- Lead the development, design, assessment, and continuous improvement of degree program curricula.
- Ensure overall program coherence and quality, including alignment of GLOs across courses, semesters, and the full program structure.
- Maintain national and international academic standards in line with accreditation requirements and institutional objectives.
- Foster collaboration across communities of practice and actively contribute to the Academic Board.
- Coordinate with multiple departments and stakeholders to effectively resolve complex cross-functional issues.
- You have a PhD degree in business administration or hospitality management.
- You have at least 10 years of experience in higher education, including profound teaching experience for graduate and post-graduate programs.
- You have proven managerial and administrative experience, have a track record of leading teams, and can implement policies and decisions effectively.
- You are highly organized, with strong prioritization and problem-solving skills, and the ability to analyze data from both strategic and detailed perspectives.
- You have a solid scholarly publication record in terms of peer-reviewed journal articles.
- You are collaborative, with a proven ability to work effectively with faculty, administrators, staff, and students.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- You are fluent in English and French (C1), German and/or Italian a plus.
