A doctorate is required at the starting date. A successful candidate is expected to develop an independent and competitive research program in a multidisciplinary environment. The new Faculty member will supervise their own PhD students and engage with researchers in related fields across the EPFL campus. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and contribute to STI education programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The EPFL environment is multilingual and multicultural.
