RnD Technical Leader

This role is a senior R&D position focused on leading technical activities for disposable kit products within a regulated life sciences environment. The position sits within a multidisciplinary R&D team and emphasizes sustaining engineering rather than new product development. The role involves managing product changes, ensuring compliance, and maintaining product performance throughout its lifecycle. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers is central to success.

• Lead sustaining engineering initiatives and oversee technical changes across the product portfolio.
• Manage change control processes, including impact analysis, risk assessment, and documentation updates.
• Coordinate verification and validation activities to support product and process modifications.
• Drive lifecycle management activities such as obsolescence handling, supplier changes, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with quality, manufacturing, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure compliant implementation.

• Degree in mechanical, biomedical, materials engineering, or a related technical field.
• Several years of experience in product lifecycle management or sustaining engineering within a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, design controls, and industry standards.
• Experience with disposable systems, plastics, or single-use technologies is advantageous.
• Solid problem-solving, stakeholder coordination, and communication skills; fluent in English.
