Context
As part of the development of next-generation satellite communication solutions for the aerospace and aviation industries, we are looking for a Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer to join an international R&D team.
In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of complex embedded electronic hardware used in cutting-edge communication systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Systems, FPGA, RF, Mechanical, Thermal, and Manufacturing Engineers to deliver innovative, high-reliability products that meet demanding industry standards.

In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of complex embedded electronic hardware used in cutting-edge communication systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Systems, FPGA, RF, Mechanical, Thermal, and Manufacturing Engineers to deliver innovative, high-reliability products that meet demanding industry standards.
Responsibilities Hardware Design- Define the hardware architecture of complex electronic boards.
- Design analog and digital schematics.
- Select electronic components based on system requirements.
- Define PCB stack-ups and routing constraints.
- Supervise PCB layout activities in collaboration with layout engineers.
- Perform hardware bring-up and board validation.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
- Participate in qualification and verification campaigns.
- Ensure successful product validation prior to production release.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) best practices.
- Support products throughout the manufacturing and industrialization phases.

- Manufacturing teams
- Participate in technical reviews and engineering decision-making.
- Share technical expertise and contribute to continuous product improvement.
- Master's degree or Engineering degree in Electronics or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in hardware electronics design.
- Proven experience owning the complete development of complex electronic boards.
- Strong background in analog and digital electronics.
- Excellent knowledge of Altium Designer
. - Experience defining PCB stack-ups and routing rules.
- Solid experience in hardware validation, debugging, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Knowledge of switching power supplies (Buck, Flyback, LLC, etc.).
- Experience working with FPGA-based hardware integration (HDL development not required).
- Understanding of EMI/EMC constraints.
- Experience in Aerospace, Space, Defense, or other highly regulated industries is a strong advantage.
- RF experience is considered a plus but is not mandatory.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Technical curiosity and continuous learning mindset.
- Confidence to challenge technical decisions constructively.
