Biomedical Mixed-signal IC Designer
About usWe are developing Wear & Forget® wearables for continuous sweat biochemistry monitoring, combining on-demand sweat extraction with aptamer-based biosensing. Based at the Lausanne Biopôle, we are a small, multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers (fewer than 20 FTEs) driven by a shared passion for impact. We thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where creativity, scientific excellence, and rapid iteration are at the core of everything we do.

We're looking for an exceptional analog/mixed-signal IC designer to own the custom silicon at the heart of our wearable biosensors. You'll design ultra-low-power integrated circuits for epidermal biomedical applications - taking designs from architecture and schematic to a validated ASIC and, ultimately, to technology worn by thousands of people in the maternity continuum and beyond.
This is not a support role. You'll work closely with the founding team and see your designs move from schematics to silicon to real-world impact in women's health in record time, embedded in a deep-tech startup where decisions happen fast.
You have a strong background in analog and mixed-signal IC design, with hands-on experience in low-power circuit design and ASIC bring-up. We're especially excited to meet candidates who have taped out and characterized their own designs.
Responsibilities- Design ultra-low-power integrated circuits for wearable biomedical applications
- Develop biomedical signal-acquisition chains (amplifiers, ADCs, DACs)
- Implement switched-capacitor circuits and energy-efficient power management
- Participate in ASIC characterization, validation, and system-level integration
- Iterate closely with the hardware, firmware, and biochemistry teams to align circuit performance with system requirements
- M.Sc. graduates from leading institutions are preferred - including Imperial, TU Delft, EPFL, ETH Zürich, TUM, and Sharif - though we care far more about what you've built than where you studied
- PhD graduates are considered when backed by a strong track record at top venues (ISSCC, JSSC)
- You bring fast, ruthless execution and the independence to own a technology end-to-end
- You thrive in a demanding, high-ownership environment where you figure things out and move quickly
- Ownership from day one, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the founding team
- The chance to take your designs from schematic to silicon to real-world impact - fast
- A competitive salary and a top-notch work location, at EPFL or the Biopôle campus in Lausanne
- Swiss visa and work permit sponsorship for outstanding international candidates
- A fast-moving, highly collaborative team where decisions happen quickly
- Clear opportunities to grow into technical leadership as the company scales
