• Minimum 6 years of experience in Fund Operations, Fund Dealing, Transfer Agency, Custody or Asset Servicing environments, including significant exposure to Hedge Funds and alternative investments.
• Proven expertise in Hedge Funds, Alternative Investments and Private Equity structures and demonstrated experience in handling complex, high-risk and non-standardized fund transactions.
• Strong understanding of fund dealing life cycles, settlement processes, cash management, accounting flows and operational controls.
• In-depth knowledge of fund-specific restrictions, including cut-offs, notice periods, lock-ups, gates, side pockets and liquidity constraints.
• Proven ability to manage complex operational relationships with Transfer Agents, fund administrators, Global Custodians and depositaries.
• Strong operational risk awareness and the ability to assess the business and client impact of decisions.
• Ability to challenge apparently valid instructions when inconsistencies, unusual features or potential risks are identified.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound and timely decisions in complex, high-pressure and non-standard situations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• High level of autonomy, accountability, rigor and attention to detail, with a strong commitment to quality and operational excellence.
• Excellent prioritization and workload-management capabilities, combined with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
