A Day in the Life

This is a product Program manager role within the Endoscopy OU in Western Europe. The role will be responsible of the Hepatobiliary (HPB) and Hemostasis portfolio. With a focus on launching a new to Medtronic product line in FY27-28.

We are opening a Product Marketing Program Manager role in our Endoscopy Operating Unit (OU) within the Western European HQ team, where you will have the opportunity to launch disruptive new to Medtronic and the market innovations. The digestive category has the second highest level of new cancer cases — and the second highest number of deaths. Medtronic’s Endoscopy OU is committed to caring for the large, diverse population of Gastrointestinal (GI) patients with products to support them across the continuum of care (screening, diagnosis, and treatment.

Endoscopy is currently in an expansive and transformational phase in which we are continuously offering multiple innovative products in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy.

The Product Marketing Program Manager we are looking to hire to join our Western Europe (WE) Marketing Organization will lead all marketing efforts for Hepatobiliary (HPB) and Hemostasis portfolio. With particular focus on launching a new to Medtronic product line (Cholangioscopy) in FY27-28. This position can be based anywhere across the WE region. In the role, they will develop effective strategies to gain Market share across the HPB and Hemostasis market and lead the launch of a new innovation pipeline (Cholangioscopy).

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Identify market opportunity & barriers to entry, work with cross-functional team to deliver effective strategies and programs to overcome key identified market adoption barriers, while also contributing to and influencing the clinical evidence strategy and dissemination tactics.
  • Develop a segmentation strategy to identify and target the right markets for new product launches and expansions, develop & launch insights based value propositions, supported by effective & qualified marketing toolkits and omni-channel communication plans, lead new product launches to develop this new market, as well as setup tracking dashboards with leading & lagging KPIs, supported by quarter business analysis.
  • Work with stakeholders to deliver accurate demand forecast through the integrated business planning process, eventually serving as technical expert, demonstrating products/service, providing Training & Education, in-service or tradeshow support and troubleshooting product issues.
  • Train, develop & educate the field on selling the our HPB & Hemostasis solutions, while also building strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) & society partnerships as well as develop new KOLs to drive a top-down approach to market adoption.

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Experience in working collaboratively across many functions within the organization to develop comprehensive market share strategies, in particular in launching disruptive innovations that leverage emerging trends in healthcare.
  • Strong customer facing skills and notable executive presence coupled with the ability to design solutions at all levels from medical department and purchasing to C-suite.
  • Strong commercial acumen evidenced by at least 7 years of Marketing & Market Development Experience with in healthcare, along with a strong project management orientation with the ability to prioritize and manage a complex list of projects to completion.
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering.
  • Fluency in English and at least one other European language.
  • Available to travel up to 30% of working time in Western Europe for business purposes.
