PR Director​/Head of Communications

You Hodler is a Swiss-based international fintech platform operating across European and LATAM markets. We build financial products at the intersection of digital assets, payments, and modern financial services, helping customers and businesses access reliable payment solutions, multi-currency accounts, and financial tools that support both retail and B2B use cases.

A senior PR leader with a strong background in fintech, payments, SaaS, enterprise, and B2B communications — someone who:

• Has successfully built or scaled PR for payment or financial technology companies in Europe (mandatory).
• Understands the European regulatory and media landscape for fintech and payments.
• Can create a measurable, business-driven PR strategy.
• Maintains a strong personal network with journalists and editors in top-tier business, finance, tech, and payments media.
• Knows how to build corporate reputation through earned media, thought leadership, and social platforms.
• Works effectively with cross-functional teams — marketing, product, payments, legal, partnerships, and executive leadership.
• LATAM media experience is a strong plus.

• PR & Communications Strategy

  Build and execute You Hodler’s PR strategy with a primary focus on Europe.

  Position You Hodler as an innovative, secure, and reliable provider of payment and financial solutions.

  Create communication roadmaps for product launches, new features, market expansion, and partnerships in payments and financial services.

• Media Relations

  Maintain and expand strong relationships with journalists across European business, tech, finance, and payments media.

  Ensure consistent visibility through interviews, op-eds, press releases, and expert commentary.

  Manage all incoming media requests and proactively drive new stories and pitches.

• Social Media & Thought Leadership

  Build a cohesive social media communication framework for You Hodler’s corporate channels.

  Strengthen thought leadership of the CEO and internal experts in payments, fintech innovation, financial inclusion, and digital finance.

  Develop messaging frameworks and tone of voice aligned with marketing and brand.

• Reputation Management

  Shape company narrative on key topics: payments innovation, security, compliance, consumer protection, and financial reliability.

  Prepare Q&A documents, crisis communications, and media training for top management.

  Monitor brand mentions, sentiment, and competitive visibility across Europe and LATAM.

• PR Analytics & KPIs

  Define and track PR KPIs: reach, SOV, publication volume, sentiment, link quality, traffic impact.

  Prepare transparent reports for C-level leadership.

  Demonstrate measurable contribution of PR to broader marketing and business objectives.

• Must-Have
  • 5+ years in PR/Communications at manager or director level.
  • Strong experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, enterprise or B2B industries.
  • Proven European PR experience (essential).
  • Established network in EU tech, finance, business, and payments media.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver measurable PR strategies.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Lausanne.
  • Native or full-professional working proficiency in English + French / Italian / Spanish.
• Nice-to-Have
  • LATAM experience with financial, tech or payments media.
  • Experience in corporate social media, SEO-driven PR, Linked In thought leadership, or industry events.
