Logitech is seeking a Senior Hardware Product User Experience Designer to join our Global User Experience team in Lausanne, Switzerland. The role blends hardware UX design across gaming and personal workspace product lines in a hybrid work model (2–3 days per week in office).

Responsibilities
  • Design end‑to‑end product experiences across hardware interactions, firmware, and software.
  • Contribute to platform‑level UX topics such as connectivity, device behaviors, and system interactions.
  • Translate complex technical constraints into clear, intuitive user experiences.
  • Define information architecture and interaction models for complex systems.
  • Own and design detailed keyboard layouts across multiple products, operating systems, and regions, ensuring production‑ready precision.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, engineering, and localization teams to align on constraints and maintain quality.
  • Maintain and evolve standards, guidelines, and assets for keyboard layouts.
  • Contribute to the Logitech Design System, defining platform and product guidelines (e.g., Bluetooth Connectivity, Webcam).
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and scale solutions across products and platforms.
  • Collaborate with design‑system and platform teams to improve reusability and consistency.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience designing complex consumer hardware products.
  • Excellent portfolio showcasing hardware design solutions (e.g., consumer electronics, mobile, ergonomic products).
  • Proficient in translating product work into reusable guidelines.
  • Deep understanding of user‑centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent grasp of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to produce production‑ready assets with precision.
  • Understanding of localization challenges, typography, and spatial constraints.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Figma; 3D application experience a plus.
  • Effective collaboration skills; experience working closely with engineering and product teams.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast‑paced environments.
