Sales Engineer
Company: Pi Imaging Technology - a Zeiss company
Position: Full-time
DescriptionPi Imaging Technology is a fabless semiconductor company developing single-photon detector arrays with extremely high sensitivity and low noise. We enable our partners to create innovative imaging and sensing solutions for cutting-edge research in life sciences (confocal microscopy, fluorescence (FLIM) imaging) and quantum technologies.
Our detectors are based on single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs) designed in standard CMOS technology, enabling photon-counting arrays with megapixel resolution and flexible architectures. These sensors are integrated into plug-and-play camera modules, supported by FPGA firmware and C++ software for a seamless user experience.
Position DescriptionAs a Technical Sales Engineer
, you will serve as a key interface between customers and the technical team, supporting the full product lifecycle—from pre-sales consultation to post-sales technical assistance. You will work closely with pioneering technology companies and research institutions to help them integrate our SPAD-based imaging products into their systems, resolve technical issues, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Provide pre-sales technical support, including product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with both research and industrial customers.
