About the role

Mole Sense is looking for an early-career scientist to lead the development of next-generation aptamer technologies for hormone sensing. The role includes SELEX, post-SELEX optimisation, aptamer validation, binding assays, and performance evaluation, while working closely with the biosensing team to advance technology development, scientific publications, and intellectual property.

Key requirements

• PhD, postdoctoral, or equivalent research experience in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical biology, biomedical engineering, materials science, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in aptamer development, SELEX, post-SELEX optimisation, and aptamer-based sensing assays
• Strong understanding of molecular recognition, affinity, specificity, stability, and DNA nanotechnology
• Excellent experimental planning, data analysis, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
