The Visual Collaboration Lab is opening a full-time postdoctoral position in sustainability research (related to Management of Information Systems - MIS and/or Management) to do research at the intersection of multidisciplinary collaboration, sustainability and wicked problem. This senior (postdoc) position is available within the framework of the interdisciplinary project A Digital Inquiry Platform for wicked problems: the case of sustainability assessment of business models, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).

In your activities, you will have to conduct innovative research into how to address the wicked problem of sustainability (related to environmental, societal and/or economic aspects) based on multidisciplinary collaboration. The main purpose is to reflect on how to help multidisciplinary teams to address wicked problems. In this endeavor, you will collaborate with UI/UX designers, developers, and multidisciplinary researchers. You should therefore be interested in the human aspect of sustainability and multidisciplinary approaches.
100% of your time will be dedicated to the research.
The successful candidate will be supervised by Prof. Stephanie Missonier.
In order to complete our team, we are looking for someone with the following skills:
- PhD in IS / Management or related field anchored around sustainability or human aspect of sustainability.
- Willingness to do research in the fields of sustainability, multidisciplinary collaboration and wicked problems
- Strong skills in qualitative research and Design Science Research
- Strong relational and communication skills
- Interest in multidisciplinary projects
- Fluency in English or French, with a good knowledge of the other language
