Area Sales Manager, Gourmet Food and Beverages

Our client, a leading gourmet food and fine beverage distributor in Switzerland , is expanding its commercial team. The company specialises in high end delicatessen, artisan food products, premium beverages, boutique wine labels , and supplies luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, gourmet retailers and specialty stores across Western Switzerland .

To strengthen their presence in Suisse Romande (Geneva, Lausanne, Vaud, Neuchâtel, Fribourg) , they are recruiting an Area Sales Manager with strong experience in the food, Ho Re Ca  or specialty retail sector.

• Develop and grow a portfolio of Ho Re Ca  and premium retail clients (luxury hotels, Michelin restaurants, gourmet shops, delicatessens)
• Promote a selection of fine foods such as truffle products, caviar, artisanal oils, premium beverages and specialty wine labels
• Identify new opportunities and open high potential accounts across Western Switzerland
• Build strong, long term relationships with chefs, F&B managers, sommeliers and boutique owners
• Conduct tastings, product presentations and promotional activities in the field
• Coordinate with logistics and marketing teams to ensure product availability, visibility and accuracy of orders
• Monitor trends in gastronomy, fine foods and luxury retail to adapt your commercial strategy

• Proven field sales experience in food distribution, gourmet products, premium beverages or FMCG
• Strong interest in gastronomy, artisan products and high end delicatessen
• Ability to manage a region independently and grow demanding premium accounts
• Excellent relationship building skills with a luxury and hospitality clientele
• French mandatory, English preferred, other languages such as German are appreciated
• Valid Swiss work permit

• Salary : CHF 75,000 to 95,000 per year + bonus + company car
