Position
Senior Accountant
LocationLaval
DescriptionReporting to the Controller / Director of Finance, the Senior Accountant plays a key role in full‑cycle accounting and financial close within a quick‑paced distribution environment. Strong inventory accounting experience is essential.
Responsibilities- Manage full‑cycle accounting
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Oversee inventory accounting (COGS, provisions, adjustments)
- Support budgeting and audit processes
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams
- Contribute to process and system improvements
- DEC, Accounting certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong inventory accounting experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
- ERP experience (SAP Business One an asset)
- Advanced Excel skills
