CPA Financial Controller

Position

Dynamic controller for a construction company in Laval.

• Preparing and analyzing monthly and annual financial statements.
• Assisting with software implementation.
• Providing strategic support to the CFO.
• Presenting reports to senior management.
• Performing bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Participating in monthly closings and preparing journal entries.
• Monitoring and managing fixed assets.
• Collaborating with various departments to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Supervising and supporting the accounting technician.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax standards and coordinating external audits.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and optimizing accounting processes.

• CPA required.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience (accounting firm and/or corporate environment).
• Experience with software implementation (a major plus).
• Ability to communicate in French and possess functional English skills to deliver presentations to senior management in Ontario.
• Dynamic personality.
