Senior Accountant in North America

Position: Senior Accountant for Flipp in North America
Elevate your accounting expertise with Flipp as a Senior Accountant, overseeing North America's financial operations. Manage general ledger tasks, month-end closes, and financial reporting in a remote-first environment.

In this role, you will take charge of day-to-day general ledger operations and the complete month-end close cycle using Net Suite. You will be responsible for journal entries, account reconciliations, payroll processing, and balance sheet reviews. Your expertise in IFRS will be critical as you support the Manager, Accounting, in consolidating financial reports for the North American group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the month-end close for North American entities

• Manage journal entries and account reconciliations

• Prepare payroll, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations

• Oversee debt schedules and intercompany loans

• Support financial reporting package preparation

Requirements:

• 4+ years of accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Net Suite

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Regular overlap with European hours for collaboration
