Junior Fit Spec Technician

Overview

As the Junior Fit Spec Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate garment fit, construction, and technical specifications from development through production. Reporting to the Team Lead, and Director, Sourcing, you will collaborate with design teams and overseas vendors to deliver quality products that meet fit, brand, and timeline requirements in a rapid-paced environment.

• Review and evaluate garment fit, patterns, measurements, construction, and graded accuracy
• Create and maintain accurate spec sheets, measurement charts, and garment construction documentation for new programs
• Review and interpret Tech Packs (TPs) to ensure alignment with design intent
• Evaluate samples at all stages (proto, PP, TOP) and recommend fit, construction, and measurement corrections
• Assess fabric performance and its impact on fit and construction
• Communicate clear technical feedback to overseas vendors
• Support quality control standards and resolve fit or construction issues
• Manage multiple priorities and timelines; assist with overflow fit/spec tasks as needed

• Technical understanding of garment fit, pattern, and construction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in order to communicate effectively when working with overseas suppliers
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, with robust multitasking skills
• Ability to work under tight calendars and meet deadlines
• Flexible, adaptable, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
