This critical role demands 3–5 years of relevant construction safety experience. You'll oversee safety orientations, enforce compliance, and conduct regular inspections while filing safety documentation. Your efforts will be essential in compiling health and safety statistics and fostering a culture of safety on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to daily
• Facilitate comprehensive safety training programs
• Evaluate subcontractors’ safety practices pre-construction
• Document incidents and maintain safety records
• Compile health and safety performance reports regular
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of construction safety experience required
• NCSO designation currently active or in progress
• Strong understanding of OHS regulations needed
• Valid Alberta Advanced First Aid certification
• Proven ability to lead and influence safety practices
