Dental Hygienist - Orleans Family Dentistry

Position Summary

Orleans Family Dentistry is seeking a Dental Hygienist. The position is full‑time Monday‑to‑Friday with one evening per week. This is a replacement opening. The wage is $55‑$60 per hour depending on skill, experience, and location.

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening.
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventive techniques and counselling.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on patients’ expectations while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behavior.

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.
