General Education Teacher

Kativik Ilisarniliriniq is seeking a General Education Teacher for adult learners in Laval. This is a replacement contract from February to May 2026, offering a competitive salary based on qualifications.
The role requires a Teacher’s Certificate or

B. Education, preferably with a focus on remedial education or English studies. Ideal candidates will have experience in adult education, literacy teaching, and multi-level classes. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English, mathematics, history, geography, and biology

• Facilitate adult education and literacy programs

• Manage multi-level classes effectively

• Utilize technology including Moodle for lessons

• Assess and support student progress
Requirements:

• Teacher’s Certificate/B. Education preferred

• Experience in teaching adults and literacy subjects

• Familiar with MEES programs preferred

• Knowledge of English and French language teaching

• Willingness to accept training if necessary
