Music Instructor at Long & McQuade

Join Long & McQuade in Laval as a Music Instructor, teaching students of all ages in violin, guitar, and more. This role allows for flexible scheduling as an independent contractor.

We are looking for dedicated Music Instructors to offer lessons through our Lesson Centre. Candidates must be available on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends. You will be responsible for shaping students’ musical talents and fostering a love for learning various instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in violin and other instruments

• Create tailored lesson plans for individuals and groups

• Employ recognized teaching methods for effective learning

• Monitor student progress and adapt techniques accordingly

• Foster a welcoming and inspiring teaching environment

Requirements:

• Music degree or diploma required

• At least Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Teaching experience with diverse age ranges

• Familiarity with curricular standards and private lessons

• Valid professional equivalency in music education
