The School of Medicine, set to open in 2028, invites applications for Vice Dean starting August 2026 or sooner. You will provide leadership in all aspects of medical education, ensuring excellence in curriculum, accreditation, and learner support. Your efforts will shape a medical school dedicated to fostering student success and community health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct the entire scope of medical educational practices
• Facilitate innovative and compliant learning environments
• Promote effective partnerships with health systems
• Steward faculty development and training programs
• Ensure continuous quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• MD or equivalent with Ontario licensure eligibility
• Extensive background in medical education leadership
• Proven track record in assessment and curriculum innovation
• Strong interpersonal skills to navigate diverse stakeholders
• Commitment to social justice and community engagement
Drive impactful medical education initiatives and position York University as a leader in healthcare training.
