High School French Teacher

Reports To: Principal

Faith Christian Academy (Église-École Académie chrétienne de la Foi) is a dynamic, Christ-centred bilingual school serving Grade 1 through Secondary V, with a separate Ontario Grade 12 program. FCA is committed to academic excellence, spiritual formation and character development.

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated High School French Teacher who can provide engaging instruction, support a range of learners and contribute to FCA’s Christian school community.

• Teach French in accordance with the applicable Québec Education Program, Progression of Learning and Ministry requirements.
• Plan lessons and assess student learning using the prescribed competencies and evaluation requirements.
• Provide appropriate support and interventions for diverse learners.
• Communicate effectively with students, families and school leadership.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school activities.
• Contribute to a positive, Christ-centred school community.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, French or a related field.
• Valid Québec teaching authorization or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong oral and written French-language skills.
• Relevant secondary teaching experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and classroom-management skills.
• Commitment to FCA’s Christian mission and values.
