Electrical Systems Integration Engineer – Aerospace
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Systems Integration Engineer to support aircraft electrical power generation, distribution, and lighting system architectures across Bombardier aircraft programs.
This is a excellent opportunity for an electrical engineering skilled with solid experience in aircraft electrical systems, systems integration, certification, engineering documentation, and aerospace standards.
Location and Work ModelLocation:
Montréal, Québec or Toronto, Ontario
Work Model:
Hybrid — remote and in office work required
- Support electrical systems technical improvements and development for existing and future aircraft programs
- Prepare and review engineering documentation related to electrical system changes
- Work on aircraft programs including Challenger 3500/650 and Global 5500/6500/7500/8000
- Support improvements related to emissions reduction, cost, weight, performance, and customer satisfaction
- Contribute to trade studies for new technology introduction and integration on aircraft
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers on technical matters
- Represent the Electrical discipline with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to lessons learned, best practices, and continuous improvement within the Electrical Knowledge Domain
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical systems integration or a related field
- Aerospace or aircraft systems experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of industry standards such as RTCA/DO-160, SAE, MIL-STD, or similar
- Familiarity with airworthiness regulations and advisory materials, including TCCA, FAA, and EASA
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working with airworthiness, manufacturing, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines
- French language skills are an asset
