Senior Transmission Line Engineer

The Role  Our client, a recognized organization in the energy and electrical infrastructure sector, is seeking a  Senior Transmission Line Engineer  to strengthen its technical team. You will play a key role in the design, analysis, and execution of high-voltage transmission line projects, working with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities   Design and analyze overhead and underground transmission lines (structures, conductors, foundations)
Conduct mechanical and electrical load studies according to applicable standards (CSA, IEEE, NESC)
Supervise and review plans, specifications, and technical documents
Coordinate with civil, structural, and environmental engineering teams
Provide site supervision and technical support during construction
Mentor and supervise junior engineers on the team
Participate in client and regulatory relations
Profile  Desired
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
Minimum 7 years of experience  in transmission line design
Proficiency in specialized software
Excellent communication skills
Bilingualism (French/English)
