Join the Town of Penetanguishene as a Mobile Revision/Ballot Officer for the 2026 Elections. Engage with voters, assist with identification, and facilitate a smooth voting process.
This election role involves direct interaction with electors at voting locations. You will assist in confirming voter qualifications, manage the electronic voter’s list, and provide ballots in a discreet manner. Your participation is crucial for ensuring an efficient and welcoming environment during elections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist voters upon arrival to the voting location
• Issue oaths of qualification where identification is insufficient
• Handle the electronic voter’s list and make necessary revisions
• Distribute appropriate ballots to voters discreetly
• Troubleshoot tabulator issues during the voting process
Requirements:
• Experience in customer service or public interaction
• Familiarity with electronic systems is preferred
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills
• Available for the duration of the election period
Contribute to the electoral process by supporting voters and ensuring a successful election experience.
