In this independent contractor role, you will work closely with the cancer strategy team and provide essential guidance from your cultural perspective.

Your role supports the advancement of the Canadian Strategy for Cancer Control while fostering relationships across the healthcare landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for First Nations priorities in advisory roles

• Guide teams through monthly discussions and feedback

• Participate in collaborative committees and working groups

• Foster strategic relationships with First Nations partners

• Share insights on issues affecting community health

Requirements:

• Experience delivering health services to First Nations

• Background in providing strategic advice to healthcare leaders

• Knowledge of health and political systems is beneficial

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications

• Bilingual capabilities are advantageous
