Serve as a Psychologist at the Operational Stress Injury Clinic, focusing on mental health for veterans, police, and military personnel. Deliver specialized assessments and interventions for psychological stress and trauma.
This role offers an opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise in assessing and treating trauma-related disorders in clients from Veterans Affairs Canada, RCMP, and DND. You will engage in evidence-based psychological interventions and work within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to program development and evaluation while mentoring the next generation of psychologists.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and report findings
• Implement group and individual treatment plans based on evidence
• Collaborate with community service providers and agencies
• Supervise psychology trainees and residents
• Participate in ongoing program evaluation initiatives
Requirements:
• Doctorate in Psychology from CPA/APA accredited program
• Registration with the College of Psychologists mandatory
• Five years of experience in clinical mental health
• Expertise in evidence-based treatments for trauma and stress
• Strong clinical leadership and mentoring skills
