Drive occupational health initiatives at Mackenzie Health as a Disability Management Specialist. Focus on return-to-work strategies and support for injured employees within a healthcare environment.
Reporting to the Director, you will be at the forefront of implementing health programs and protocols. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in health sciences and a minimum of three years in Disability Claim Management. Your proactive case management will ensure workplace safety and assist in the early return to work for injured staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver established occupational health programs efficiently
• Develop and implement return-to-work plans
• Manage Non-Occupational Health and WSIB files
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team effectively
• Promote workplace safety and incident prevention
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in health sciences or related fields
• Three years' experience in Disability Claim Management
• Intermediate computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proven attendance record in healthcare settings
