This is a temporary position for approximately 12 months.
Ability toperform all diagnostic procedures with the skill and judgement to applyprescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. The ability todeliver quality patient care safely within the scope of practice defined by the College of Medical Radiation Technology and Imaging Technologists of Ontario(CMRITO).
Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision during regular hours and no supervision after hours. Must possess the ability to work safely and professionally with patients, and other healthcare staff.
Qualifications:- Requires a post-secondary degree/diploma in Medical Radiation Technology.
- CT courses 1,2 and 3
- Speciality designation in CT preferred
- IV training course or equivalent
- Must be registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Experience in a hospital CT clinicalenvironment.
- Experience with IV starts and contrastinjections.
