Enhance lives with Carefor as a Personal Support Worker, providing essential support to clients in home settings. Work Monday to Friday with daytime shifts only, and no weekends.
Carefor, the largest home care provider in Eastern Ontario, seeks a Personal Support Worker to deliver vital personal and homemaking services. Collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team, you will help clients achieve independence and well-being.
Your role will focus on personal care, light housekeeping, and compassionate social support, ensuring the best quality of life for those you serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily living activities like grooming and bathing
• Provide light meal preparation and laundry services
• Offer respite care to families in need
• Document changes in clients’ care plans
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
• Certified Personal Support Worker or equivalent qualifications
• Clear Vulnerable Sector check and current immunizations
• Experience in Palliative Care preferred
• First Aid CPR certification is an asset
• Must possess a vehicle for travel
Deliver compassionate care and support to clients and families as a Personal Support Worker at Carefor.
