Become an essential part of community health as an Ambassador for Indus Community Services in Brampton and Mississauga. This full-time opportunity focuses on promoting health initiatives and empowering residents through education and outreach.

In this role, you will lead initiatives to enhance public health awareness and support wellness in the Peel community. Your leadership skills will facilitate effective community engagement, ensuring that health promotion strategies align with local needs and public health standards. This position involves on-site and local travel to various community venues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee local health promotion and community outreach

• Organize events to distribute health resources and education

• Conduct community inquiries and provide health strategies

• Maintain accurate records of outreach and program statistics

• Collaborate with funders and health service partners

Requirements:

• Three years of experience in community health or outreach

• Strong leadership and program development skills

• Familiarity with health resources in the Region of Peel

• Excellent presentation and communication abilities

• Valid driver’s license for community travel
