As a Personal Support Worker at Age Care, you will monitor resident care, assist with documentation, and actively participate in team education.
Your role is vital not only for the care of residents but also in supporting new staff onboarding. Age Care fosters a culture of compassion and community, enhancing the overall quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor care given to residents and report findings
• Assist in documenting resident care information
• Attend in-service education sessions and staff meetings
• Help onboard new staff members when needed
• Follow Infection Prevention and Control policies
Requirements:
• Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma required
• Meet vocational standards from respective authorities
• Knowledge of geriatric care techniques
• Understanding of sanitation and cleaning methods
• Ability to perform bedside care effectively
