Job Overview

As a Technician for our Sample Management-Shipping department at the Laval location, you will be performing sample management activities and following directives from the study plans.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

• Shipment Packing/Labeling/Marking and tracking;
• Fill appropriate documentation for shipment purposes;
• Ensure that work is performed in accordance with the requirements of a study plan and in full compliance with GLP, where these conditions apply;
• Perform the preparation of the sample shipments to other locations or disposition of the samples, as well as all follow-ups attached to these tasks;
• Perform reception, verification and storage of samples using the internal manual system and/or the Watson LIMS system.

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:

• High school or College diploma in a relevant field;
• Good working knowledge of computers;
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes based on priorities;
• Flexibility, autonomy, and ability to work independently or in collaboration;
• Experience using LIMS system (Watson) is an asset;
• Knowledge in Logistics, IATA and DOT certification, an asset.

Role Specific Information

• Transportation:
  Free parking. Near the Montmorency Subway. Electric vehicle charging station;
• Annual bonus based on performance;
• Schedule:
  
  Weekday schedule, Monday to Friday. Depending on the needs, you may have to do overtime;
• Permanent position as of the hiring, full time 37.5hrs per week.
