Scope of the position:
The Digital Workplace Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day administration, governance execution, and operational support of the organization’s Microsoft 365 environment, with primary ownership of SharePoint Online configuration and governance.
This role focuses on implementing established standards, supporting business users, maintaining platform health, and ensuring SharePoint content, permissions, and structures are well managed to enable secure collaboration and effective Microsoft 365 Copilot usage.
Responsibilities:
Manage Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, One Drive, and One NoteManage tenant configurations, licensing assignments, and service settings in collaboration with Infrastructure TeamMonitor service health, storage usage, and usage trendsSupport business units with workspace creation, site setup, and collaboration best practicesManage external partnersImplement and enforce established SharePoint governance standardsManage permissions, sharing settings, and access controls to reduce oversharingAdminister and support approved third party SharePoint tools (e.g., CB Replicator)Ensure SharePoint governance, metadata, and permissions directly support accurate and secure Copilot responsesLead SharePoint centric governance initiatives aligned with organizational and regulatory requirementsImplement data protection controls using Microsoft Purview (sensitivity labels, retention, DLPProvide Tier 2/3 support for SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Copilot related issuesWork closely with Teams, One Drive, Identity, Security, and Compliance administratorsRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related fieldMicrosoft 365 or SharePoint certificationsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a pragmatic mindset for innovationHands‑on experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environmentExperience managing SharePoint Online, including sites, permissions, and information architectureStrong understanding of Microsoft 365 collaboration and sharing modelsExperience with content lifecycle management and governance controlsFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot concepts and data access considerationsExperience using Microsoft Purview for sensitivity labels and retentionAbility to coordinate cross‑functional teams without direct authorityStrong analytical and problem‑solving capabilitiesOrganized, detail‑oriented, and delivery‑focusedStrong written and verbal communication skills in both French and EnglishBenefits & Perks:
