Wawanesa is seeking a Claims Technical Specialist to enhance claims practices by providing technical expertise. Engage in a hybrid work model while guiding complex property claims across Canada.
As a specialist, you will play a critical role in consulting on significant claims, resolving complex issues, and promoting best processing standards. Your experience will support coaching initiatives and internal team collaborations, contributing to process improvements and national initiatives within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance on large loss and litigation claims
• Analyze policies and recommend settlement plans
• Promote documentation standards and file quality
• Lead coaching sessions for adjusters and leaders
• Confirm optimal claims strategies with teams and partners
Requirements:
• 5–10 years of experience in complex claims adjusting
• Strong knowledge of litigation impacts on claims
• Completed CIP designation or equivalent
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to travel within Canada as needed
