Take charge as a Maintenance Superintendent with Alamos Gold at the Island Gold Mine in Dubreuilville, ON. Oversee essential mobile maintenance operations to enhance production reliability.
This full-time position calls for a dynamic leader with extensive mining maintenance experience. You will manage a cross-functional team focused on the upkeep of heavy machines, ensuring all operations meet safety and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will span from leadership and training to cost management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise a diverse maintenance team, fostering growth and development
• Ensure rigorous adherence to safety and operational standards
• Manage maintenance work for haulage and support equipment
• Collaborate with planning teams to ensure work readiness
• Optimize maintenance budgets and spending controls
Requirements:
• At least 7 years in mining maintenance
• 3 years in a supervisory capacity
• Strong technical background in mining machinery
• Leadership and communication proficiency
• Familiarity with SAP PM or equivalent tools
Drive maintenance excellence and contribute to the success of Alamos Gold's operations in the Island Gold District.
