Facilities Arena Caretaker Needed

Become an essential part of our facilities team as an Arena Caretaker. Maintain ice surfaces, clean, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere at the arena.

Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you will oversee operations including Zamboni use, bathroom cleaning, and snow removal. This hands-on role includes keeping dressing rooms in order and maintaining the cleanliness of all shared areas. You will also be responsible for proper documentation of maintenance logs and regular ice upkeep, with shifts expected during evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the Zamboni for smooth ice conditions

• Clean bathrooms, dressing rooms, and common areas

• Remove snow around entrances and manage ice surfaces

• Maintain cleanliness of the Zamboni room

• Regularly check and maintain ice plant equipment

Requirements:

• No prior experience required, but it's a plus

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends

• Strong attention to detail in cleaning and maintenance tasks

• Dedication to safety in all areas

• Willingness to learn and follow procedures
