Laborer

SALARY: Class3 – $32.61

SCHEDULE:

• Night shift:
  Monday to Thursday from 7:30 PM to 5:00 AM
• Weekend shift:
  Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Day shift:
  Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Some day contracts available)

WORK MODE: On-site

WORK LOCATION: Various locations in the City, Various sites in the City of Laval

As a laborer at the City of Laval, you actively participate in the maintenance of roadways, parks, and other public spaces located in our territory.

In winter, you play a key role in snow removal operations to keep our streets and sidewalks safe and accessible for all Lavallois and Lavalloises.

• Base salary at $32.61 / h: with a night premium of $1.95 for night contracts.
• Guaranteed income:36 hours per week, with an average contract of 17 weeks in winter. Start date in mid-November.
• Stable schedule: Mainly night or weekend contracts, with some day contract opportunities as needed

• Valid class 5 driver's license.
• Having a class 1, 2, or 3 license is an asset.
• High school or vocational diploma.
• SST card (ASP construction) or if you do not have it yet, proof of registration for the course.
