Warehouse Maintenance Assistant

Become a key player at Staples Canada as a Warehouse Maintenance Assistant in Laval, QC. This role involves building maintenance duties, troubleshooting systems, and supporting clean and safe environments.

You'll be responsible for both janitorial and maintenance tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. Key areas include cleaning internal and external spaces, troubleshooting electrical issues, and supporting the operation of conveyor systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and maintenance inside and outside the facility

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on various machines

• Collect trash and maintain equipment cleanliness

• Oversee Day Porter activities and scheduling

• Ensure proper operation of safety and backup systems

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Minimum three months related experience

• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly

• MHE certification is an asset

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations
